CH Kharn-Ka Tsula of Fryga

Almost 3 years of waiting, long talks and negotiations and finally she was here – our little squirrel whose name means fox but who purrs like a cat and has papers to prove she is a cat ;)
She’s a real world traveler – doesn’t mind over 1000 km car rides – and her favorite pastimes are walks on leash and running around with children at the playground :)

A little bit of a surprise and a little bit of chance and luck on our side. A totally unplanned addition that captured our interest from the start but wasn't ours till the very last minute.
But now here she is - a wonderful purring and kneading tornado with an opinion on every subject. She loves hugs and kisses and her coat is really like cashmere so we call her Kaszi (pronounced Cashee).
Kaszi is retired living together with her son.

RW QGC (TICA) IC (FIFe) Fryga Bryni

A real Lady and a puuurrrfect mix of her parents - petite, but in a stunning coat with fiery colour and beautiful head. Following her parents footsteps she took TICA shows by storm. She repeated her dad's success by becoming 3rd best somali cat world wide in a show season (just like her dad in a previous year) and placing even higher than her dad in a regional ranking of adult cats of all breeds. At home Bryni is a talkative cuddler - she loves having conversations with her humans, cuddling on the couch and underneath the duvet at night. As a proper somali female she is also extremely smart, curious and an expert climber - wall mounted hammocks, ceiling high cat-trees and tops of the wardrobes are all her kingdom. And when the weather is nice she spends every waking moment on the cat-secure balcony watching birds and surveying the neighbourhood.
Bryni is enjoying her retirement with a lovely family in Germany.

CH Almaros Wild Honey of Fryga

Hania is a lot of "firsts" for us: our first aby (and a special one); our first cinnamon female and a chance for kittens in this colour as well as shorthair - abyssinian - kittens. Hania is a special aby: her mom is a somali while her dad is a pure aby - this makes Hania an abyssianian variant (long hair gene carrier). Such matings like Hania's parents not only help to improve somali's phenotype but more importantly extend "our" genetic pool, which is beneficial for health and development of the breed. Hani's mating with a somali male can result in both ABY (var) as well as SOM kittens (and as ususal genetics can play its tricks and there can of course be a whole little of abys only). Hania lives with our dear friends together with a neuter female from our first litter - Anala. Just like Tsula, Hania has her own FB page.

IC Kharn-Ka Garanace Sahara of Fryga

Our little princess Sara. A sunny girl that came to us from Finland - just like Tsula. She is our second cinnamon girl and first longhair one. Sara is a true tree-climbing cat-squirrel - she enjoys walks on leash and discovering new places. But most of all she loves water - no bath, shower, washing or plant watering can occur without her assistance and supervision. She is our absolutely adorable ray of sunshine.

GRC (TICA) GIC (FIFe) Fryga Gaila

Long - is the adjective that best describes Gaila - long legs, long body and miles of fluffy tail. Little rascal at the beginning slowly turned into a delicate young lady - of course she is a somali and acts accordingly but in comparison to her cinnamon half-sister she seems calm and collected. She is an incredible cuddler and would wish to spend all days in the arms of her favourite human. We're observing her development with great interest as she has the makings of a beautiful, elegant foxy-cat.

Other breeds have torties and their tortitudes, a we have cinnamons... and after experiencing a full cinnamon litter from two cinnamon parents we can definitely say that cinnamon is also not only a colour but a character :p
Havaiva is 200% cinnamon in cinnamon, not only because of her parents' colours ;) She is brave, unstoppable, curious and inquisitive - a real squirrel with a boost. She's already done some traveling and leash walking and although she really didn't like the harness when first put on she forgot she was wearing it once she was on the grass. For now Havi took all that best from her parents - both in looks and temperament, and we can't wait to see how she develops in the future.

CH (TICA) IC (FIFe) Kharn-Ka Shamals Nahele of Fryga

Our somali journey has come full circle - Tuuli is our 3rd female from Finland and half-sister to our first somali Tsula. They both have the same amazing father – FI*Kharn-Ka Your Choice.
And Tuuli's mom is our very own Calineczka.
She quickly became a full member of our family, just like her half-sis she adores our maine coon and spending time on the balcony.
Time will tell if she will become a traveler like our other Finnish girls. For now she loves sitting in our laps, purrrring and cuddling.
